Close Calls Philly

This reporting application helps the Clean Air Council advocate for better public transportation and road safety by allowing users to document traffic incidents, major or minor. Reports all include essential fields such as date and time, address, and type of incident, as well as additional descriptive information and photo upload options. Besides reporting, Close Calls Philly also displays the reports on a map and gives users the option to filter through markers within a certain date range or geographic boundary. These filtered reports can also be downloaded in a CSV format. All of this data can then be utilized by the city to identify potential dangerous locations and make changes, such as engineering enhancements or road signs.

Clean Air Council (CAC) is Philadelphia’s oldest environment non-profit that has been fighting for clean air since 1967.
