Julia Pan is a junior studying Cognitive Science, Economics, and Innovation & Technology Policy. Raised in Boston, she spent the past summer interning at the Federal Trade Commission in DC. She currently works at the Mayor of Philadelphia's Policy Office implementing behavioral science insights with public policy. Because of her experience in the government and passion for technology, she has naturally fell into the social impact and civic tech space. At Penn, she is also involved with TEDxPenn, Lambda Alliance, The Philomathean Society, and Vagina Monologues. In her free time, she enjoys singing, playing piano, photography, going into the city to watch indie movies, and pretending to write comedy.
